I had not been looking forward to the need to find a new audiologist following our move to Carlisle, but I certainly made the right choice. The care you took with the hearing tests, the infinite patience with which you listened to my concerns and the clarity of your explanations and recommendations were exemplary. I
was most impressed also by your willingness to visit promptly when I got a bit tied-up with volume controls and music settings, especially when it turned out that the problem was me, not the instruments.

I’d never heard of home testing before and was initially a bit sceptical that it would be possible to do a ‘proper’ hearing test without a sounds booth. However, the truth is that I can’t emphasise enough what a great experience it has been.

The hearing test was carried out in a very professional manner, the options discussed with me and I was able to make a decision on which hearing aids to try, supported by what I felt was a very well informed and expert advice.

With regard to fitting, the audiologist visited several times to make sure I had the right hearing aids to meet my needs and ensure I was completely satisfied with the sound quality and programmes in a variety of settings such as watching TV and listening to music.

I felt that he really wanted to get the best for me by seeking feedback on my listening experience and using his knowledge and skill in being able to translate this into tangible adjustments to improve the sounds quality. He also took time to answer my questions with great patience and reassurance. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Castle Hearing to others.
